Future Workforces Summit

The summit was held at the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre (MECC) with keynote speakers Global Futurist Anders Sorman-Nilsson and BHP Vice President Technology Global Transformation Rag Udd on the main stage.

This was followed by presentations and workshops in four breakout streams; METS/mining, construction, agriculture and SME/services and a panel discussion about “What does it all mean for the Mackay Isaac Whitsunday region?”.

The summit was just one part of Greater Whitsunday Alliance’s vision for the MIW region to fully embrace transformation and
work of the future.
