Through a partnership with the Local Buying Foundation, the Isaac Business Support Program aims to connect small business with a range of resources and support to address key local challenges, and build both capacity and resilience.

Business owners, managers and other key decisions makers will benefit from being involved in the Isaac Business Support Program. The program hosts a variety of business events, as well as funding and partnership opportunities for communities in Moranbah, Clermont, Dysart, Middlemount and Nebo.

The Isaac Business Connection Project

GW3 initiated the Isaac Business Connection Project in 2021 to identify an appropriate means for supporting business connection and collaboration in the Isaac region. The final report found wide support for an “umbrella” business association for SMEs in the region and highlighted a need for further engagement with the Isaac business community members to assess their willingness to participate in a business connection ‘model’. The final report can be found here.

GW3 is asking SMEs in the Isaac region to provide their opinion on a combined Isaac region business connection ‘model’. Some of the potential services and benefits could include:

·       Advocacy. A combined stronger voice for the whole region.

·       Access to support services

·       Professional development and training

·       Promoting local Buying

·       Networking

·       Investment and business attraction

Your input is important to help measure business interest and decide next steps.

It’s as simple as answering a few questions to let us know if you would participate.

Have your say and complete the survey here.
